A Quick Introduction
Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to my website. I am extremely excited about another wonderful year of teaching at Floyd Central. This year I have the privilege of teaching AP/IB psychology and psychology. Please check out my website to find information about the course, lessons for each week, the PowerPoints and handouts for class, interesting videos, useful links, and my contact information.
On a more personal note, I graduated with highest distinction from Indiana University Southeast with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 2004, attended graduate school at the University of Louisville, and completed a Transition to Teaching program at Indiana Wesleyan University and received an Indiana educator's license in 2006. In 2008, I completed Advanced Placement certification in psychology, and I earned a Master of Education degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in the spring of 2011. In 2012, I received International Baccalaureate certification at the Center for the Advancement and Study of International Education in Atlanta, Georgia. In the spring of 2020, I completed my +30 in education administration. This is my 16th year of teaching at Floyd Central. I currently live in New Salisbury with my wonderful wife Jessica, who is a sixth-grade teacher at North Harrison Middle School, and our three children -- Madilyn (15), Grayson (14), and Cooper (13). We enjoy being outdoors and playing sports in our spare time.
Sincerely,
Mr. Chad Clunie
